Duns Motocross — A New Chapter
We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that Duns Motocross Track is now back under the direct management of the landowner.
The track has been leased out for a number of years, and we'd like to thank the previous tenant for their time and effort at Duns. We wish them well going forward.
We're looking forward to being more hands-on again and working closely with clubs, promoters and riders as we plan the season ahead.
Race Events
We will continue to host select race meetings throughout the season as normal. We're excited to build on the strong events already planned and welcome promoters and riders back to Duns. A full calendar will be released soon.
Practice Days — Important Update
To ensure proper track preparation and a better overall riding experience, we're making some important changes to how practice days work at Duns.
- We will no longer be opening the main or kids' track midweek.
- We are currently in discussions for organised club-run practice days approximately every 4–6 weeks.
- Details will be published here, on Facebook and Instagram as soon as they are confirmed.
- Structured practice days will allow for better track preparation, more riders on track, and a safer, more enjoyable environment for everyone.
Preparing a track properly takes significant time, fuel and machinery. Opening for very small numbers simply isn't sustainable — we want to ensure that when the track is open, it's at the standard riders expect and deserve.
Duns Motocross has been part of the local and national motocross scene for almost 40 years. We're committed to protecting its reputation and securing its long-term future.
