Who We Are

Duns Motocross Track is one of Scotland's longest-established motocross facilities and has been part of the Scottish off-road scene since the early 1980s.

Built by the Macvie family over 30 years ago, the track has hosted countless race meetings, practice days and championship events, welcoming riders of all ages and abilities.

Today, Duns Motocross is back under the direct management of owners Chris & Dave Macvie. As lifelong enthusiasts and custodians of the venue, we are committed to maintaining the track's reputation as a professionally prepared, well-run and enjoyable facility for riders, clubs and promoters alike.

Established 1988. With a rich history behind it and a strong future ahead, Duns continues to play an important role in Scottish motocross.

Where We Come From

The Duns Motocross Track has had a long and distinguished history, gaining a wealth of experience working with the land and maximising the potential of the circuit and surrounding area.

Situated on Langton Lees Farm, just 3 miles outside of Duns in the Scottish Borders, it sits in a picturesque setting amongst the Lammermuir Hills providing spectacular scenic views as a backdrop.

The venue is renowned throughout the community as one of the best in the country, hosting rounds of the British and Scottish National Championships as well as various club championship events year after year.

What We Do

With an excellent circuit and an abundance of sport knowledge, our goal is to provide a complete motocross facility for the off-road enthusiast.

We Provide

National competition standard race and practice track
Children and beginner track
Organised practice days open to all two-wheeled dirt-bike riders
Race days — British, Scottish and Club Championships
Workshop and mechanic facility with experienced mechanics

We Do Not Provide

Rider training
Bike or equipment hire

What We're About

Ultimately we are trying to provide a comprehensive motocross experience where everything you need from a day out on your dirt-bike is all in one venue. We want you to enjoy your day and feel comfortable and confident doing so.

We appreciate that motocross is not just about riding bikes — it's about hanging out with friends and sharing a passion for the sport. Friendships and camaraderie run strong throughout the pits and we encourage the social aspect of our sport as much as the riding.
